This afternoon, after having participated in the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety held in Caivano, also in the presence of the President of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi wanted to visit the Carabinieri Company of Caivano in order to express his personal thanks for the important activity carried out, after a year from its constitution, and the brilliant operational results achieved, as well as the recognition for the work carried out as a garrison of the State in a complex reality such as that of Caivano, where the Carabinieri have carried out functions of social proximity and participatory security that have given meaning to the very essence of the territorial nature of the Institution.
During his visit, the Minister met with the carabinieri serving at the newly formed Company, demonstrating interest in the challenges and efforts they face daily to ensure the safety and well-being of the local community. He underlined the fundamental importance of their work in maintaining order and tranquility in a difficult context, and often under the spotlight, but where they constitute the only garrison of the Police Force and where they live together with their families.
Welcomed by the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri of Naples, General Enrico Scandone, and by the Cte of the Castello di Cisterna Group, Col. Nicola De Tullio, the Minister visited the headquarters of the Company, talking with all the soldiers involved in ordinary service activities, stopping in particular in the special room dedicated to listening to vulnerable victims, unfortunately also used recently for the well-known events of the Parco Verde
