“On a sultry day hundreds of citizens were queuing outside the social services offices in Naples for the Shopping Card 2023 and there was even an ambulance waiting for them. This is the “solidarity” that has burdened every single Municipality with responsibility, generating only chaos. The solidarity card is a real dive into the past: it recalls, in fact, the ration card used in 1940 but we are now in 2023 and is it possible that people's needs are met using the same tools as in the past?” Thus in a note the regional councilor of Campania of the De Luca President group, Diego Venanzoni.

“It is not a question of those who have the responsibilities to do “charity” (which I would also define as selective because to date many Neapolitan families entitled – he adds – have not received support due to lack of funds) but must provide concrete answers that are not limited to an ISEE model, but that respect the founding principles of our country: work and social justice”.
