Respect for the sea at the basis of the Major's appeal Ivan Iannucci, commander of the Sorrento Carabinieri Company: “Operating a boat sober is essential to your safety and that of all other water users. Obeying navigational rules and wearing life-saving devices are essential steps toward safe navigation.

Avoid throwing waste into the sea and collect that present on the beach. Your action can make a difference for the future of our coasts.

Remember to learn about the prohibitions and restrictions in the areas where you sail. These rules have been established to protect both you and the surrounding environment. Respecting them is an act of responsibility towards the community and the marine ecosystem.”
