Due tablespoons to taste the Dolce? They cost 1,50 € in addition to the final payment of the bill. The complaint that has been making the rounds on the web comes from a restaurant in Alba, city of Piedmont, and was sent by an anonymous sender to the newspaper's editorial staff “The Voice of Alba”, who published the whole thing today.

The photo of the spoon received and the attached receipt is unequivocal: the addition of cutlery to taste a dessert, in particular a Catalan cream costata 5 €Coast 1,50 € moreover. A report that has inevitably sparked a new indignation on social media, with people who are tired of the constant price increases of this crazy summer 2023.

He also expressed his opinion on the case Maximilian Dona, lawyer, journalist and president of Consumatori.it, who explained how in theory, from a legal point of view, these are justified and legal surcharges for all intents and purposes since they are already specified and indicated in the menu. So nothing wrong, but it is not enough to stop the controversy.
