The five missing youths, who had gotten lost late that afternoon on a trail in the San Venanzio Gorge in Raiano, in the L'Aquila province, were rescued last night and are all safe. After Rava Tagliata, the five youths lost their bearings and ended up in the Aterno Valley, near Molina, in the province of L'Aquila.
The boys called 118 for help and the Sulmona Carabinieri also intervened to locate them. Two rescuers located them with the drone late yesterday evening and reached them. The 5, originally from Pozzuoli, in the metropolitan city of Naples, are fine.
After the medical check-ups, they set off to return home where their families anxiously awaited them.
