Napoli's negotiations for Gabri Veiga have seen a dramatic turn of events. The young Spanish talent will play for Al-Ahli next year.
There is an agreement between the Arabs and Celta Vigo and the player has also reportedly given his approval for the transfer. A mockery for Napoli who had strongly supported the 2002 midfielder to the point of offering Celta the sum of 30 million euros (plus 6 in bonuses), which would have made him the most expensive purchase of this summer session in Serie A.
Al-Ahli is the same club that tried to sign Zielinski, before the Polish player refused and renewed his contract with Napoli. Gabri Veiga will find former Serie A defenders Ibanez and Demiral, Franck Kessié and a stellar attack composed of Mahrez, Firmino and Saint-Maximin.
The offer was decisive, 12 million per season against the 2+bonus that Napoli was offering.
