It will be held on Friday 18st September starting at XNUMXpm, at trecase, the final event of the project “Young people of the Vesuvio", with the inauguration of the redeveloped green area near the public parking lot on Via Regina Margherita. Music and aperitif at sunset is the formula chosen by the organizers to welcome the people of Trecase and beyond, to whom they want to show and tell the long collective journey that saw the birth and animation of the project actions.
Begun in 2021 with the aim of redeveloping and enhancing the area through the active involvement of local young people, the project, promoted by the associations UNEC - Unione Nazionale Enti Culturali and Free Spirits on Tour, in collaboration with the Oratorio San Domenico Savio of trecase and the Mestieri Campania consortium, was made possible thanks to the synergy created with the municipal administration of Trecase, led by Mayor Raffaele De Luca, and was co-financed by the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service - Presidency of the Council of Ministers, within the Action and Cohesion Plan, in response to the notice “Young people for the valorization of public goods 2018”.
The green area has undergone a painstaking cleaning and preparation work and has been the scene of a large number of events and workshops aimed at promoting youth protagonism, active citizenship, ecology, critical thinking, civic sense and community spirit. In addressing young people, the topic of work has not been overlooked, with orientation activities and information sessions, also thanks to the partnership with the Mestieri Campania consortium.
The initiatives of the Giovani del Vesuvio project were also the occasion for the creation of a local support network, which saw the active participation of the Trecase Parents Association, the Primaurora Association, Eiraionos, the Universal Civil Service volunteers active in Trecase and citizens who spontaneously embraced the cause.
