The enchantment is unleashed in Amalfi, which transforms into an elegant amphitheater under the stars. The beauty of live music conquers the audience of the Amalfi Coast.

The “Cover Night” review, a new addition to the “Amalfi Summer Fest 2023″ events program promoted by the Municipal Administration led by Mayor Daniele Milano, continues with extraordinary success.

An idea that has already revealed itself as a “cult” despite the first edition, to rediscover disco music and international singer-songwriters, in an itinerary that moves between the 70s, 80s, 90s, between funk rhythms, overwhelming beats, pop icons of international music, soul and r&b contaminations of the great voices of black music, up to the first electronic sounds.

After the sold out of Queen of Bulsara, the first tribute in Campania dedicated to the unparalleled myth of Queen, and The Tree Gees, the most accredited and faithful tribute band of the legendary Bee Gees, Piazza Municipio is preparing to welcome a unique and unprecedented show, which tells and excites.

On stage Friday 18 August at 21.30 pm, Belcanto & Rhapsody, the project created specifically for the promotion of Italian musical culture in the world with international musical artistic citations that have crossed and united many Italian generations abroad.

“A cry of love” for the music that represents the common thread between the four artists who alternate on stage: Russell Russell, dancer, singer and choreographer originally from New York who lives and works in Italy. Michele Longo, who enchanted Loredana Bertè's team with his voice and determination for the latest edition of The Voice Senior. And again Matteo Schiavone: in him, art is expressed through the pregnant strength of his voice, which has always represented Italians abroad. The only lady of the evening, Sonia Mosca from Campania, frontwoman with an incredible and powerful voice, winner of the second edition of All Together Now, the musical show hosted by Michelle Hunziker with J-Ax broadcast on Canale 5.

The four vocalists will be accompanied by the Mediterranean Orchestra, with Luigi Pagliara, Michele Piano, Silvio La Torre, Marco Tricarico, Antonio Farabella and Salvatore Ragno, in an extraordinary show that will overwhelm the Amalfi audience.

The week of Ferragosto opens on Monday 14th at 21.30:8 pm with the concert of NapoliOpera, the group that is made up of XNUMX musicians who are part of the historic Italian Orchestra of Renzo Arbore, with whom they still tour Italy and the world, recording success after success. A performance that has its roots in the immense Neapolitan musical heritage in a fusion of global sounds, which has achieved a popular success that has made it loved all over the world, filtering the experiences that its musicians have gained by collaborating with artists such as Murolo, Gragnaniello, Pino Daniele, Teresa de Sio, Tullio De Piscopo and many others, up to the Italian Orchestra of Renzo Arbore.

In the repertoire, great classics, such as “Era de Maggio”, “Maria Marì”, overwhelming popular dances in a particular and engaging “Medley di Tarantelle”. And also songs such as “Nun te scurdà” (Almamegretta), “Don Rafaè” (F.De Andrè) that open a window on the most recent “classics”.

A passionate "Santa Lucia luntana" for mandolin alone makes one fully enjoy the most traditional Neapolitan instrument. The concert also includes a particular version of “Tammurriata nera” and then again “Pigliate….na pastiglia” and “Maruzzella” by Renato Carosone, “O Sarracino” in the version sung by his friend and deceased artist Beniamino Esposito, of whom he is also “'A 'nzalata 'e mare”, up to the inevitable tribute to his friend Renzo Arbore with songs like “Cocorito“, “Scapricciatiello” etc…

With Gianni Conte as lead singer, Massimo Volpe on orchestral direction, piano and backing vocals, Michele Montefusco on guitars and backing vocals, Peppe Sannino on percussion and backing vocals, Massimo Cecchetti on bass and backing vocals, Roberto Ciscognetti on drums and, last but not least, Salvatore Esposito and Nunzio Reina on mandolins.

It's pure energy on Sunday 20 August at 22.00pm in Piazza Municipio with the Disco Nostalgia '90 Evening, the incredible show-party that is enjoying enormous success with music, entertainment, themed entertainment, 90s-style set-ups, scenography, dancers, mascots, gadgets and many special effects.

Nostalgia '90 is having a huge success not only among the generations born in the 70s and 80s, but also among the very young, thanks to the spectacular stage choreography, the music mixed by famous DJs. A mix of emotions that manages to involve entire generations.

Fun is guaranteed with the event that celebrates the fabulous nineties, with soundtracks of cult films such as Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, Life is Beautiful, The Truman Show, eccentric looks, timeless hits, cartoons and TV series that have remained in the heart. A journey through time, in a revival of the first video games, group dances, theme songs to sing in unison. A concentration of music, with dancers, singers and live DJ sets for a long night dedicated to rhythm and that unique atmosphere that has made history. A magical night, to let yourself be carried away by the dreamy atmosphere that only Amalfi can offer.
