A large fire is underway on the Mount Epomeo in Ischia, in the wooded area in the locality Frassitelli which is part of the municipality of Serrara Fontana.
The flames are visible all over the island and are causing concern, because they are being pushed by the wind and are dangerously approaching the houses. The flames are burning several hectares of Mediterranean scrub.
