“We are faced with an unacceptable arrogance on the part of people who operate in a totally illegal manner, appropriating the public beach, placing their “customers” in an absolutely irresponsibly even in the area forbidden to bathers for safety reasons, carrying out a commercial activity in a completely abusive manner and in contempt of any public safety and hygiene regulations.

The same people had already been reported by me in 2016 for the same crimes. Evidently they prefer to continue to repeat these behaviors. That's why so much hatred and anger towards me.

I also noticed that some of the sunbeds were branded with the names of hotels that I had also reported for the collapse of the beach cliff that occurred a few years ago. I asked to monitor so that any responsibilities are verified and to prevent those who have already caused irreparable damage to this stretch of coast from continuing to profit illegally at the expense of the community, possibly trying to take over the free beach.

I thank the men of the State Police and the Port Authority who intervened promptly, who proceeded to dismantle the illegal beach, seizing all the material".

Thus the deputy of the Green Left Alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli after a blitz on the day of Ferragosto on the beach of Cava dell'isola, in Ischia, where there was an illegal beach. Deckchairs and umbrellas in rows rented to customers, positioned for a fee in what is in all respects a free beach, even in the area forbidden for safety reasons.

Two illegal booths and a bar were also built. There were moments of tension when the deputy arrived, who was recognized by one of the managers, reported by Borrelli himself in 2016 for the same crime, who attempted to attack him.

Which was prevented by the escort agents. The State Police and the Port Authority intervened and reported the illegal immigrants and seized all the material. Other seizures were made today.
