Extraordinary metropolitan runs on Line 2 after the Serie A match between Naples and Sassuolo scheduled for Sunday 27 August at 20.45 at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.

Trenitalia Regionale (FS Italiane Group), in agreement with the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples, will operate metropolitan trains on Line 2 beyond the usual end of service time, to allow for an easier outflow of spectators.

In total there will be 5 additional journeys departing from the Naples Campi Flegrei station for a total of 2.700 seats, four of which in the direction Naples San Giovanni-Barra and one in the direction of Pozzuoli.

It is preferable to purchase the train ticket in advance to avoid queues or long waits at the ticket counter. Only those who show a valid travel ticket to the railway staff will be admitted on board. In collaboration with the Police, they will direct passengers to the departing subway platforms. In addition, the ticket office at Naples Campi Flegrei will remain open until the end of the event.

At the Naples Piazza Garibaldi and Naples Campi Flegrei stations, there will be Customer Service and FS Security personnel, while the Piazza Leopardi station will be closed from 21.30 pm and will not provide passenger service.
