Working 10 hours a day in a well-known Japanese restaurant in Naples, 6 days a week, for a salary of 7 euros a month, just over three euros an hour.
This is the complaint of the deputy of the Green Left Alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli who speaks of a "new case of attempted exploitation of labor", publishing the screenshots of the conversation between the person who introduced himself as the owner of the place and the person looking for work.
"Enough with absurd and underpaid job offers. Too many business owners first propose starvation wages and then complain because they can't find staff. The jungle of exploitation must be stopped at all costs, if we continue like this our young people will never be able to build a future for themselves.
How can you think of living by working 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, for only 7 euros, a sum that no longer even allows for the payment of rent, utilities and groceries. A serious fight against labor exploitation must be implemented, otherwise only poverty will increase”.
