A 50-year-old worker died today in Senago, in the Milan area, while working in a company that builds ventilators in via Cavour 91.
The man, Italian, according to initial reconstructions, was sucked into a fan while he was probably performing maintenance work. His colleagues, who could no longer see him, found his body in front of the fan.
The dynamics are still to be ascertained and the carabinieri and firefighters intervened on site. An ambulance and a medical car arrived on site, as well as teams of firefighters to recover the body.
The accident occurred at Acovent Srl in Senago, a company that designs axial fans and industrial centrifugal fans. The deceased worker was from an external company.
