There is a hunger for freshness and creativity, for the language and reading of the world that the new generations have: there is a need for their ideas. With the same premise as always, the 13th edition of the Fabula Prize kicks off, scheduled from Monday 28 August to Saturday 2 September in Bellizzi. Yesterday the delivery of the shirts to the over 500 dreamers of the Bel Paese, super enthusiastic and excited, on the horizon, six days of discussion and creativity, sincere hugs and dream meetings, laughter, stories and fables, with the aim and hope of instilling to children aged seven and over who, like the moral of all fairy tales, good wins over evil.
THE FIRST DAY
We start with “Superheroes”, a workshop aimed at blue jerseys, that is, creatives aged 10 and up: meeting at 16 pm in the Council Chamber. With teacher Rachele De Prisco, the creatives will delve into this year's theme. No muscular and acrobatic characters. The kids must understand that their strengths are their flaws and that to be superheroes, you just need to look to the future with courage and without the fear of daring.
At 18.30 pm in Arena Troisi (Via Nino Bixio) the young people reclaim their meeting area, the container of affection, the true heart of the Award, where friendships are strengthened between young people from all over Italy who meet once a year in Bellizzi to create, write, paint, draw their details together.
Massimiliano Gallo is expected to arrive at 19.30:35 pm: 15 films, 1 TV series and lots of theatre. A successful actor, well-known to the general public for “Imma Tataranni. Deputy Prosecutor”, “I Bastardi di Pizzo Falcone” and “Filomena Marturano”, for everyone he is “Vincenzo Malinconico, unsuccessful lawyer”, the protagonist of the Rai80 fiction. These days Gallo is in Salerno where filming has begun for the second season in which he returns to play the clumsy and imperfect lawyer created by the writer Diego De Silva. But he is also on tour with “Stasera. Punto ea capo”, an opportunity to celebrate life in a colorful and stroboscopic XNUMXs atmosphere, a show of music, revival and stories to share with the teenagers of the past and why not, even with those of today, the so-called millennials.
The meeting will be moderated by the journalist Concita De Luca, who will also join the Italia 1 journalist Gaetano Pecoraro in the evening (at 20.30 pm) in Piazza del Popolo. Here the typical Fabula day ends with moments of great music and entertainment, with the authorial contribution of the journalist Ivano Montano. During the opening evening the young protagonists will read some of their fairy tales in front of the public and Gallo, who will receive the first Fabula Prize 2023.
A VERY BEAUTIFUL EDITION – THE OTHER GUESTS
Tuesday 29th will be the turn of Paolo Conticini, already the protagonist of the Fabula spin-off in July, Wednesday 30th of Pierluigi Pardo, idol of young and old fans of the world of sport. Thursday 31st August will be the turn of the guest chosen by the Fabula guys: Alfa, at the top of all the charts with his “Bellissimissima”. Friday 1st September another great opportunity for growth for the creatives of the Award who will meet Nicola Gratteri, Public Prosecutor of Catanzaro, on the front line against the 'Ndrangheta. Saturday 2nd September great closing with Giampaolo Morelli, the legendary Inspector Coliandro, the cult series of the Manetti Bros, and Giancarlo Giannini, one of the most famous actors in Italian cinema, voice actor and director.
Fabula, the cultural initiative born in 2010 from an idea by Andrea Volpe, is created with the patronage of the Campania Paralympic Committee and the Municipality of Bellizzi.
