The Carabinieri of the forestry station of Roccarainola, during a coordinated territorial control service in the municipality of Cicciano, in the province of Naples, they noticed hemp plants inside two greenhouses near a construction site being inspected. The soldiers thus discovered an illegal cultivation of about 10 cannabis sativa plants, also finding hemp seeds and other material used for cultivation.
The plantation consisted of plants about two meters high, carefully cultivated and ready for harvesting as they had already matured due to the presence of inflorescences. Everything was seized.
The military then proceeded to identify the owners of the greenhouse. They are a 56-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man living in Cicciano, both reported for cultivation and possession of narcotics. The production and dealing activity would have brought in around 18.000 euros.
