This morning, officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid of the Naples Police Headquarters, during their territorial control service, while passing through Piazza Garibaldi, heard the screams of a woman.
The officers intervened and found that she had been grabbed and robbed of her cell phone on the stairs outside the shopping mall by a man who had walked away in the direction of Corso Novara.
The police, thanks to the descriptions provided by the victim and some passers-by, immediately tracked down and stopped the man in Via Milano, finding him in possession of the cell phone stolen from the woman shortly before.
Therefore, a 20-year-old of Romanian origins was arrested for robbery and personal injury and was taken to the Poggioreale prison.
