A jet crashed in Russia and 10 people died. According to local authorities, the leader of the Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was on the list of passengers on board.

In June, Prigozhin, whose group was involved in the war in Ukraine, led a march of his mercenaries to Moscow in protest against the Russian defense brass.
