Naples, Sergio Maione dies: owner of the Hotel Vesuvio

The lawyer died this morning Sergio Mayon, a very well-known entrepreneur, owner, among other things, of the Grand Hotel Vesuvio, historic hotel on the Naples seafront. Maione, born in '47, was a knight of Labor, as well as deputy vice president of the Industrial Union of Naples.

His passing was also announced by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in a tweet. “Sergio Maione, the soul and mind of the Grand Hotel Vesuvio in #NAPLES, the hotel I frequented first as a journalist and then with President Berlusconi, has passed away. Sergio was a great gentleman, always positive, in love with Napoli. I remember him with respect and affection”, adds.
