Today, the staff of the Judicial Police Team of the Police Station of Sorrento executed a custodial order issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Court of Torre Annunziata at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office. The order was applied to a 51-year-old resident of Naples, suspected of robbery and aggravated theft.
The suspect, who already has a long criminal record, allegedly stole a purse and a bag with a wallet containing 17 euros from a craft shop in the center of Sorrento on July 100. He also allegedly used violence against another saleswoman in the same shop to secure the stolen goods and try to avoid punishment for his thefts.
Shortly before, he also allegedly stole a black leather backpack from another shop in the centre of Sorrento.
