It was a race against time to save a 25-year-old speleologist who was injured at a depth of about 200 meters during an exploration in the Grotta del Falco, in the Alburni mountains, in the province of Salerno.
On site, in Corleto Monforte, the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps with several local teams and other rescue teams from other areas of Italy.
The injured woman is an experienced speleologist and her colleagues are working to rescue her. They are trying to locate her precisely and are also trying to understand the extent of the injury and any other injuries.
