More earthquake tremors in the Campi Flegrei area: one of which was clearly felt by the population.
The first, the strongest, of magnitude 2.6 was recorded at 0.46 with geographical coordinates (lat, lon) 40.8380, 14.1000 to a depth of 3 km, in the Campi Flegrei area.
The shock was preceded by a loud bang that was heard by the population and partly also in the Phlegraean districts of the municipality of Napoli.
The second one, instead, of magnitude 1,8 ± 0,3, located near via Domitiana. The earthquake occurred at 03:56, local time, at a depth of 2,94 km.
No damage to people or things was reported. The Civil Protection of the municipality of Pozzuoli was alerted and the mayor Gigi Manzoni invited the population to remain calm.
