Great Success at Villammare Film & Friends, the festival dedicated to independent cinema organized by Patron Alessandro Cocorullo and under the artistic direction of Andrea Axel Nobile. Also this year, the event hosted by journalist Daria Scapitta, recorded many presences in the town of the Gulf of Policastro and thrilled the audience present who attended the screenings of the films and shorts in competition.
Many guests from the world of cinema and entertainment were awarded in Villammare during the five evenings of the event, now in its 22nd edition.

Lifetime Achievement Award to Enrico Vanzina; Best Supporting Actress Award for “Mancino Naturale” to Katia Ricciarelli; “50 Years of Cinema” Award to Eleonora Giorgi; Icon Cinema Italia Award to Anna Mazzamauro; “Mare Fuori” Revelation Award to Giovanna Sannino; Revelation Actor Award for the fiction “Mare Fuori” to Gaetano Migliaccio; Male Character of the Year Award to Giampaolo Morelli;
Territory&Cinema Award to Michele Albanese; Territory&Cinema Award to Antonio Lombardi.
Best Film, Giorgio Arlorio Award and Best Screenplay to “L'anima in pace” by Ciro Formisano; Best Actress Award to Claudia Gerini for the film “Mancino naturale”.
Best Director to Giovanni Virgilio for “I racconti della domenica”; Special Mention to the film “Mancino Naturale” for the role of Paolo (the child Alessio Marinelli); Special Mention to the actress Livia Antonelli for the film “L'anima in pace”; Best TT&C- Tourism Territory & Cinema film to “I racconti della domenica” by Giovanni Virgilio; Best Short Film “Split Ends” by Aleriza Kazempour, Rotary Special Award for the feature film to “Fuori” by Lucia Ceracchi; Special Award “A short for the Rotary” to “I giorni alla finestra” by Giuseppe Palmeri; Legambiente Award (short films with an environmental/ecological theme) to “Pig” by Jorn Leuweerink; Special Award “Pietro De Luca” (Pietro De Luca Foundation) to “The stupid boy” by Phil Dunn; Special Mention for the short film on social issues shot with the IC G.
