The workers' mobilization at the Lete company in Pratella, in the province of Caserta, continues: this was announced by Flai-Cgil Caserta, which today distributed flyers outside the gates of the Pratella plant.
“It is essential to keep attention high on this issue – says the general secretary of Flai Caserta, Tammaro Della Corte – especially in the middle of August, when the workers of the plant are not allowed to go on holiday.
The company imposes a block on holidays, in the period from June 15 to September 15, effectively canceling the summer season from the lives of its employees, who have never tasted the emotion of taking a summer holiday with their families, as happens to several tens of millions of Italians”.
“Another critical issue – adds Della Corte – consists of a lack of respect for the company union representation (Rsa), with which industrial relations are practically absent in violation of the relevant national collective agreement; the Rsa is not involved in consultation and discussion activities on issues relating to the organization of work and overtime”.
“We remind you that shifts are structured without adequate notice, sometimes during the week or even during the evening before the requested work shift, with the use of overtime often beyond the limit permitted by the Ccnl.
We will continue with the struggle and mobilization until the rights of workers are asserted" concludes Della Corte.
