The fourth Italian Literary Walk, promoted and organized by Alessio Masciulli with his Masciulli Edizioni, started last August 26th from Catignano, in the province of Pescara: the initiative will touch the city of Naples on MONDAY 4 SEPTEMBER 2023 AT 20.00 PM and will be hosted in the spaces of the Smash Padel Fuorigrotta (in via Brigata Bologna, 27).
"Our Walk defines itself as 'literary' - explains Alessio Masciulli, creator of the initiative - because throughout the duration of the 'walk' the books are the only protagonists. The fourth edition of the Walk started from Catignano, headquarters of Masciulli Edizioni, and will touch all of Italy in about 20 days. I will tell, at each stage, the authors on radio and TV of each region, presenting in each place the books I believed in, meeting other writers and other publishers".
The Neapolitan stage on September 4 will see the collaboration and participation of two lively publishers from Campania, Guida Editori and Jack Edizioni, and will be enriched by an exhibition of works by the Neapolitan artist Giuseppe Materasso.
Roberta Rubino, who published her “La vera gioia” with Masciulli Edizioni, leads the group of writers who will be present at the event, which will see the participation of two authors from Guida Editori, Stefano Piccirillo (“Una volta ancora. L'originale”) and Gianluca Santise (“Magnolia Nera”).
Presented by the journalist and writer Michelangelo Iossa – who with Jack Edizioni recently published the book “Fleming / Luciano. Ian and Lucky in Naples” with a preface by Maurizio de Giovanni – the Neapolitan stage of the fourth Italian Literary Walk will see the participation of the patron of Jack Edizioni, the writer Andrea Raguzzino, and some authors of Jack Edizioni: Ignazio Mario Nardone (“In mezzo al guado”), Carla Buccino (“La danza del confine. Una memoria di me”) and Luca Maurelli (“Ti serve uno bravo. Manuale d’amore per utenti di psicologi, psychotherapisti e strizzacervelli”).
“Sharing creates opportunities” is the motto of Masciulli Edizioni, which – with the Italian Literary Walk – will travel approximately 15 km across the country until September 5.000, touching Catignano, Pescara, Ancona, Rimini, Bologna, Venice, Verona, Turin, Genoa, Portofino, Pisa, Florence, Cortona, Rome, Naples, Tropea, Messina, Taormina, Catania, Syracuse, Catanzaro, Reggio Calabria, Crotone, Taranto, Lecce, Brindisi, Bari, Vieste, Termoli and, again, Pescara.
You can follow each stage of the Italian Literary Walk on the social channels of Masciulli Edizioni through live videos, posts and photo galleries. Invented by Alessio Masciulli, “the publisher with tennis shoes”, the Italian Literary Walk is a project born in 2021 to give voice to authors and their books.
