An open-air exhibition explores the human figure.
The medieval village of Teggiano, in the Salerno area, has been transformed into a multi-purpose museum with contemporary art installed in the characteristic narrow streets, alleys, stairways, on the towers of the ancient Macchiaroli manor, and in the squares.
"Teggiano Avantgarde" is the title of the open-air exhibition, open until September 30th, featuring 17 works by 16 students from the School of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.
"Teggiano Avantgarde" combines contemporary art and local history to promote tourism in the city's historic center—the Vallo di Diano Museum—with works focused on the exploration of the human figure, represented in multiple forms.
