Building abuse, disco seized in Casamicciola

The Carabinieri of the Ischia company have seized a well-known disco-restaurant in Casamicciola for illegal building and illegal occupation of state land.

Yesterday afternoon, Carabinieri officers led by Captain Tiziano Laganà, following an inspection conducted with officials from the Casamicciola Municipality's technical office, sealed off the entire 280-square-meter, multi-story structure on the seafront after finding a series of discrepancies from the original design and a change in the intended use of the premises.

The premises seized yesterday had been subject to a closure order in recent months by the Naples Police Headquarters following a series of violent incidents inside and outside the premises.
