To mark European Mobility Week, the annual initiative promoted by the European Union, which takes place from September 16 to 22 to promote sustainable mobility and encourage people to use public transport, AIR Campania, the regional transport company, is testing an electric bus provided by Industria Italiana Autobus in Avellino.
This is, explains an Air note, the Menarinibus Citymood 12e, a 12-meter urban bus, designed and built in Italy, with a 230 kW Siemens engine that guarantees a range of 300 km.

As with the tests carried out with other prototypes on the Caserta and Avellino circuits, AIR Campania technicians simulated various routes regularly followed by the urban service in the Irpinia capital, alternating busy sections with variable altimetric trends to test the vehicle's performance.
