Work has begun on the demolition and reconstruction of the Agnena Canal bridge at Km 3+310 of Provincial Road 21, in the municipality of Cancello Arnone.
The project is part of the Three-Year Public Works Program, funded with approximately €1 million from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. The project, managed by the Roads Department of the Province of Caserta, headed by Gerardo Palmieri, is coordinated by the Project Manager Claudio Trisolino.
The bridge, approximately 90 meters long and 12 meters wide, represents a strategic infrastructure connecting the Aversa countryside and the Domitian coast.

Please note that, to allow for the work, the provincial highway 21 Cancello Arnone - Cappella Reale remains closed to traffic.
Vehicles are diverted in both directions through the existing road intersections on the Sp 21 and redirected through the same intersections along the Sp 158 I and II sections, the Sp 3, the Sp 7 for heavy vehicles, while municipal roads are also used for light vehicle traffic.
