Arzano. City councilor attacked, providential intervention of the local police. The news was given by the administrator himself, councilor Nicola Falzarano.

Nicola Falzarano was allegedly attacked by the owners of a company that deals with the sale and distribution of beverages. The events allegedly occurred in Arzano, where the city councilor Falzarano has always lived.

Last Tuesday, the councilor was driving along Via Russiello, a street where a beverage distribution company is located. On the left side of the road there were some articulated trucks loaded with pallets of water.

One of the company owners, on board a forklift, was driving against the direction of travel to carry out loading and unloading operations, indicating to the cars to stop and wait the necessary time to complete the unloading operation from the platforms on the bodies of the parked trucks.

After the councilor had made the necessary complaints, the man with the forklift continued undaunted to work on the public road, blocking the passage of vehicles that legitimately requested passage.

As a result, the administrator was forced to request the intervention of the Arzano Municipal Police and, right after reporting the matter to the Municipal Police Command, the company owners began to swear and verbally attack the Councilor with threatening manners and tones.

And, according to the story, only thanks to the intervention of some passers-by and then the help of the Municipal Police was it possible to avoid the worst. The Municipal Police intervened – Falzarano says –, filmed and photographed, verifying what was reported.

“For years now, the vehicles that are obliged to pass through via Russiello, a public road in the Municipality of Arzano, have been held hostage by those who, at their discretion and pleasure, dictate the times of passage of the vehicles for carrying out all the operations necessary for commercial activity as well as for the storage of waste and pallets, blocking free circulation”.

The Municipal Police have taken steps to verbalize with the voluntary statements. In the next few hours the councilor will evaluate whether to file a complaint against the attackers.
