At the former Royal Bourbon Powder Factory, four days of meetings, seminars, workshops, performances, and a focus on cultural heritage and educational travel destinations, innovation, and opportunities for young people.
BITU.S., International Exchange of School Tourism and Out-of-Class Teaching, promoted and supported by the General Directorate for Cultural Policies and Tourism together with the Department of Development and Promotion of Tourism of the Campania Region, the Campania Regional Tourism Agency and the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, returns from 27 to 30 September 2023 to the Ex Real Polverificio Borbonico, with free admission.
The presentation was attended by Felice Casucci, Councillor for Tourism of the Campania Region, Gabriel Zuchtriegel, Director of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, Domenico Maria Corrado, creator and General Director of BITU.S, Giuseppe Codispoti, Vice President of CoopCulture, Pasquale Aliberti, Mayor of Scafati and Ciro Castaldo, General Secretary of the Banco di Napoli Foundation, with the conclusion entrusted to a video message by Massimiliano Gallo, testimonial of BITUS
For this new edition, BITU.S. strengthens its multifaceted nature. On the one hand, the educational, with conferences, debates, interviews with the protagonists, presentations, best practices, analysis and research on topics such as language, cultural mediation, renewed rules of engagement, design thinking, innovations and enabling technologies for the enjoyment of cultural heritage. On the other hand, the experiences, particularly recommended for families with children and teenagers and for students of all classes and ages: open-air workshops and indoor playground, sports, masterclasses, historical re-enactments, shows and theater and an international workshop with the contribution of ENIT National Tourism Agency, scheduled for Thursday 28 September, with buyers from all over the world.
The appointment with BITU.S, conceived and organized by Domenico Maria Corrado of I Mercanti d'Arte, together with CoopCulture, engagement and scientific contribution BTO Educational is in Pompeii from 27 to 30 September 2023.
