Even a clan 'altar' was seized by the Metropolitan Police, with the coordination of the North Naples prosecutor's office, during the major blitz by the police in the Parco Verde of Caivano.

An operation during which dozens of searches were carried out both in the neighborhood and in neighboring locations. This is the outcome. Three people were reported for smuggling foreign manufactured tobacco because they were found in possession of five kilos of cigarettes without the State Monopoly brand.

A total of 44.000 euros were seized, along with two explosive devices, one of which was rudimentary, over 170 cartridges of various calibers, 3 bladed weapons, including a baseball bat, a switchblade and a bow, five precision scales, approximately 408 grams of hashish, 375 grams of marijuana and 28 grams of cocaine.

In an abandoned apartment, drug packaging material, a replica pistol and numerous rounds of ammunition were found. During the raid, administrative checks were also carried out regarding compliance with the Highway Code and environmental and health and hygiene conditions.

In this context, 141 people were identified, 110 vehicles were checked and 10 cars were seized, of which 9 were uninsured and one was stolen in Macerata. 11 violations of the Highway Code were contested, 7 driving licenses were withdrawn and 4 vehicles were suspended from circulation.

The seized illegal altar, located in the heart of the Verde park, had already been removed in 2020 and was subsequently rebuilt. The votive shrine depicted the face of a criminal.

The investigators, coordinated by the public prosecutor of the Naples North court Maria Antonietta Troncone, removed it, freeing the area from the artifact. An intervention considered by the prosecution "of great importance because the removal of symbols of this kind - reads a note from the Metropolitan Police - gives the sense of the supremacy of the State on the territory.

Thanks to the synergy between the police forces, more than twenty shrines have already been recently demolished between Naples and the province”. Also during the blitz, agents of the Metropolitan Police, specialized in the repression of crimes against animals and wild fauna, discovered some exotic animals illegally held in cages in a private home.

These are Prevost squirrels, but there were also German shepherd puppies. 50 cages with exotic bird eggs were also found. The owners were reported for illegal detention and mistreatment. The absence of requirements on the hygienic-sanitary conditions of the premises where the animals were kept was also ascertained.
