Last evening, officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid, during their territorial control service, while passing through Piazza San Francesco di Paola, noticed a man who, after taking something from a cavity in the wall of a nearby building, handed it over, in exchange for a banknote, to a person who then fled.
The police immediately stopped the suspect, finding him in possession of 64 euros and 12 packages containing 2,5 grams of cocaine.
Therefore, a 24-year-old of Moroccan origin with a criminal record , including specific ones, and an illegal immigrant on the national territory, was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
