The provincial Carabinieri command of Naples arranged a wide-ranging service in Caivano with the soldiers of the local company who carried out several searches with the valuable contribution of the Emergency Response Units of Naples and the soldiers of the Campania regiment.
The operation allowed the removal of fixed obstacles and armored doors in the nerve centers of the Caivano drug dealing with the motorcyclists of the Naples radiomobile ready to intervene in the event of "escapes".
During the operations, a 22-year-old local, Vincenzo D'Ambrosio, already known to the police, and a 37-year-old with no criminal record from the province of Caserta ended up in handcuffs. The two are considered responsible - in complicity with each other - for possession and dealing of drugs.
The Carabinieri of Caivano, stationed and hidden among the hedges, noticed an anomalous coming and going of people near a house. A few minutes and the apartment - used as a drug dealing square - is surrounded.
The leatherheads with no small difficulty break down the armored door while the two, observed by the other soldiers, throw some bags from the rear terrace which are immediately recovered by the Carabinieri.
Inside the pouches were various doses of cocaine and crack and small amounts of cash for a total of 295 euros.
The two pushers are stopped and arrested. They are awaiting trial and the carabinieri will continue to carry out checks on a daily basis.
