About 1000 students from the Neapolitan municipality of Caivano and surrounding areas today visited the legality village set up by the State Police. The aim of the initiative was to raise awareness, through dialogue with those who patrol the area every day and work hard to ensure community safety, of the work of the various specialties (Postal, Highway, Railway, and Forensic) and the many specialists (bomb squad, dog handlers, Nibbio, and athletes from the Fiamme Oro), thus bringing the institution closer to young people living in difficult areas.
The event also raised awareness among young people about legality, making them more aware of the consequences of their actions, especially those committed online. These were discussed around the "A Life on Social Media" truck, a traveling educational campaign by the Postal Police and the Ministry of Education and Merit for the prevention of online risks for minors.
Inside the truck, parked in the Parco Verde area, Postal Police specialists discussed the importance of safe internet browsing and social media engagement, as well as how to recognize and prevent cyberbullying and online hate. This was supported by experts from OSCAD (Observatory for Security against Discriminatory Acts), who delved deeper into the topic of combating all forms of discrimination.
In this context, "Senza rete" (Without a Net) was also screened, a documentary film that tells the stories of boys and girls who are victims of online bullying through firsthand accounts.

There's also plenty of space for road safety—explained through images of the often-serious consequences of inappropriate or dangerous driving—and rail safety, with a focus on how to behave correctly and safely at stations and on trains.
Among the State Police specialists present were the Forensic Unit, with its Fullback mobile laboratory equipped for field analysis, the Dog Handlers, and the Bomb Squad, who demonstrated their intervention techniques. Finally, sport was a must, with athletes from the Fiamme Oro National Center in Naples demonstrating its importance for the healthy development of children, based on respect for the rules.
Inside the Village, there was also talk of solidarity with the State Police association "Donatori nati," which raised awareness among students about the importance of donating blood.
The important initiative was attended, among others, by the Prefect of Naples Claudio Palomba and the Police Commissioner Maurizio Agricola, who, before reaching the set-up area, met with the parish priest of the Sacred Heart of Caivano, Don Maurizio Patriciello.
