As part of the inter-force control operation ordered by the public safety authority on Caivano today, the Metropolitan Police of Naples, in the field with 40 men and women, carried out checks at 10 companies – whose activity was found to be illegal – in the area known as the 'Bronx'.
The final balance of these operations is 5 companies seized, 5 people reported to the judicial authorities and 14 thousand euros in fines. Near the Parco Verde, instead, the officials and agents of the Metropolitan Police checked 260 vehicles, identifying 315 people and issuing 80 fines; 9 vehicles suspended from circulation and 6 subjected to administrative detention.
A business was also fined for violating industry regulations. During the operation, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, weapons, drugs, and cash were found, and a census of 700 homes was started.
