“Let's put dry waste on a diet”. The separate waste collection in Sant'Antonio Abate is changing and among the main changes is the reduction of the residual dry waste fraction.
We will go from two to just one day of collection of non-recyclable waste, with the aim of encouraging citizens to increasingly differentiate the other fractions that can be sent for recycling.
The “door to door” distribution of information material has started today, with the home delivery of the information material by a group of eco-volunteers supported by Velia Ambiente staff. After completing the distribution of the information material, the start date of the new calendar will be communicated, thus allowing citizens to assimilate the main innovations of the new methods of waste disposal.
A calendar and a practical guide to separate waste collection will be distributed to each individual user. Eco-volunteers involved in home distribution will be identifiable with a tag and a bib.
Citizens are advised to wait for the communication on the start date of the new calendar. Velia Ambiente will communicate through posters, notices on social networks and in the press the date on which the new methods of conferment will come into force.
