He had been a fugitive since August 9th but despite knowing he was wanted, he happily frequented his neighborhood and the youth club in via Eduardo Scarpetta in Ponticelli.
But yesterday morning when he saw the patrol cars from the Ponticelli, San Giovanni-Barra and Poggioreale police stations arrive he understood that his escape was over. He also tried to disappear together with all the other young people who were inside.
But the police stopped him. It is Umberto Dello Iacolo, 27 years old nicknamed “o' cecato”, brother-in-law of the emerging boss Antonio Nocerino called “Brodino”, member of the De Martino clan “Xx”.
Dello Iacolo was wanted for the extortion of a restaurateur from Volla (residing in Barra) and with him 9 other people linked to the De Martino clan.
