The anti-drug operations in the Aversa countryside by the Carabinieri of the local Company continue. This time the one who ended up in handcuffs was a 42-year-old casaluce, in the province of Caserta, found in possession of 26 doses of crack.
It happened late yesterday evening when the Carabinieri of the Teverola Station, during checks, noticed suspicious movements by some young people who were furtively moving away from the building near the home of the 42-year-old, already under house arrest for drug-related crimes.
Following an immediate house search, the military found in the possession of the arrested person 26 doses of crack and the sum of €434,00 in cash, divided into banknotes of various denominations. Inside the house there was also a video intercom used to identify customers. The items found were seized.
This time, no house arrest for the 42-year-old. He was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison to be placed under the jurisdiction of the competent judicial authority. He will have to answer for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
