The request for help for a theft in progress, received yesterday evening at the emergency number "112" of the Carabinieri Company of Capua, by the owner of a farmhouse located on the via ss. Sannitica area pip, in the municipality of Castel di Sasso, in the province of Caserta, immediately activated the military of the nearby Formicola Station.
The military personnel, arriving on site, surprised two men and a woman busy loading into their car the stolen goods taken a few moments before from the reported farmhouse, consisting of work materials and tools, as well as an aluminum scaffolding worth over 1000,00 euros.
The three offenders, a 31-year-old, a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old, all from Santa Maria Capua Vetere, did not realize the arrival of the Carabinieri who immediately stopped them and subjected them to a personal and vehicle search. Inside the car in their use, some taps were also found that had been taken from a nearby farmhouse. The recovered material was returned to the rightful owners present on site.
The three were arrested and taken to house arrest. They will have to answer for aggravated theft in competition.
