Intervention last night by the Carabinieri, who went to via Martiri Atellani in Orta di Atella, in the province of Caserta, where five people, wearing dark clothes and with their faces covered, and one armed with a gun, were trying to force their way into a drugstore.
As soon as they noticed the arrival of the military, the five criminals fled on board a car. The vehicle, among other things, was later found to have been stolen in an action previously carried out by the thieves in the area of frattamaggiore, therefore in the province of Napoli.
A chase ensued that continued until the junction of the Nola – Villa Literno road, where the criminals disappeared completely. The investigation and search for the group of criminals by the Carabinieri are ongoing.
