The innovative parking and mobility system of the City of will start next October 1st. Caserta.
And from that day on, 44 employees of the company that provides the service will be able to issue fines not only to drivers within the blue lines, but also for parking violations.
At Belvedere di San Leucio, a training course has in fact begun for workers who, starting October 1, will be in charge of controlling parking areas; at the end, the Mayor of Caserta, Carlo Marino, will sign a decree through which the 44 employees of the concessionaire company will be given the possibility of also issuing fines to motorists who park in all spaces where parking is prohibited, such as on pedestrian crossings, in spaces reserved for disabled people, residents or in double rows.
Present at the Belvedere, on the occasion of the start of the training course, were the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Mobility, Public Transport and Parking, Emiliano Casale, and the Councilor for Municipal Police, Traffic and Roads, Massimiliano Marzo.
“From October 1st,” Casale explained, “we can expect a real revolution in the city’s mobility system, with the launch of an innovative project that will not only concern parking but a whole series of activities that will lead the city towards a completely new phase in terms of local transportation.
The exceptional news is that, following the training course that started today, we will have 44 people able to issue fines and who will contribute significantly to ensuring compliance with the rules of the highway code, promoting more orderly circulation and strongly discouraging the phenomenon of wild parking. These resources will represent significant support for the activities carried out by the Municipal Police”.
