The youth, later identified as a local sixteen-year-old, was transported and admitted to the hospital in Frattamaggiore where he was found to have been stabbed three times which had hit his liver and a lung.

He immediately declared that he had been the victim of a robbery perpetrated by two unknown individuals who had attempted to steal his scooter.

During the investigations carried out immediately by the Carabinieri, on the evening of 19 September 2023, a boy, also sixteen years old, showed up at the Casoria Company and spontaneously declared that he was the perpetrator of the stabbing of his peer that had occurred the day before.

During questioning, he reported a different dynamic than that which emerged from the victim's words, stating that he had not perpetrated any attempted robbery, but that he had reacted following an argument with the victim and other boys present.

In light of these statements, the Carabinieri have carried out an arrest on the initiative of the judicial police against the sixteen-year-old for the crime of attempted murder.

Subsequently, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court, the Preliminary Investigations Judge at the Juvenile Court issued a custody order against the minor under investigation, ordering his transfer to the juvenile prison in Naples – Nisida, where he is currently being held.

Further investigations are still underway to ascertain the entire dynamics of the violent event that occurred on Monday evening at the Casoria shopping centre, also to ascertain any further criminal responsibilities of the young people involved.
