Casoria – Change at the top of the Company Casoria: first female officer in command.
Captain Valentina Bianchin will take office in the next few days, succeeding Major Diego Miggiano who, after holding the position for over four years, has been assigned to the Rome Command for his new position. Miggiano, boasts in his curriculum as an investigator the coordination of operations that have allowed for the implementation of numerous arrests and investigative activities of great respect both against the clans that rage in the area north of Naples and crimes against public administration and petty crime.
Bianchin, 31, originally from the province of Treviso, attended the Military Academy of Modena from 2012 to 2014 and then from 2014 to 2017 at the Officers' School, the 194th application course for Officers of the Carabinieri. The officer was also at the Command of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Carabinieri Company of Syracuse. For her, Casoria is a return. In fact, she held the position of commander for a year before arriving at the top of the third section of the Investigative Nucleus of the Carabinieri Group of Castello di Cisterna where she directed important operations against organized crime.
Captain Bianchin is the first female officer at the top of the Carabinieri Company of Casoria, while several Carabinieri Stations are already commanded by female inspectors. The rotation of both top roles in the Company will allow us to face with renewed energy the important and delicate challenges that the territory presents, in the wake of what has already been excellently carried out by our predecessors.
