Twenty-four shows in nine municipalities, with over three thousand attendees, characterized the third edition of CilentArt Fest, bringing theater, music and dance to the suggestive settings of caves, woods, plains and small villages, with forays also on the pristine beaches of Cilento.
A particularly heartfelt and participated edition that has gathered consensus towards a multidisciplinary programming, representing a great embrace of beauty and culture, art and life, involving both the loyal public and a new and young public, eager to discover new forms of artistic expression.
The unifying power of art has succeeded in celebrating the beauty of the area and positively impacting the local community. The enthusiasm and attention that the festival has attracted confirm its role as a leading event for the cultural and tourist promotion of Cilento.
Highly appreciated and attended, among others, were the dawn concert by Naomi Berrill and the sunset performance by Piergiorgio Milano on the beach of the port of Agropoli, as well as the appointments with Rocco Papaleo, Massimiliano Gallo, RezzaMastrella and the concert by the Oscar winner Nicola Piovani.
"This project – declare the directors Alfredo Balsamo and Vittorio Stasi – demonstrates that art can be a bridge between people, a means to explore and enhance the wonders of the territories, creating deep connections between artists and the public. There is the will of the Teatro Pubblico Campano to continue to invest in this project and in a territory like Cilento, with the aim of strengthening the synergy of these municipalities, extending the programming to new administrations”.
Furthermore, there is a desire on the part of the larger municipalities to further expand the programming so as to make the CilentArt Fest even more of a wide-ranging national event.
Among the future objectives is the intent to structure an involvement strategy for virtuous entrepreneurs in the area. Ensure that, as in other regions of Italy, the Art Bonus tool can also become an important tool for dialogue with local companies for CilentArt Fest, to support the cultural and artistic development of the project.
