It was a Sunday of disruption for Circumvesuviana users, who were again affected by the severe weather that struck Naples and its surrounding province yesterday, in addition to the ongoing infrastructure issues affecting the lines operated by EAV.
As reported directly by the Autonomous Volturno Authority, "due to problems related to yesterday's adverse weather conditions, the Volla stop is temporarily closed to passenger service."

Technical reasons are instead at the root of the difficulties encountered at Leopardi station, in the city of Torre del Greco, which led to the cancellation of four trains (the 8 am train from Naples to Torre Annunziata; the 57 am train from Naples to Torre Annunziata; the 9 am train from Torre Annunziata to Naples; the 30 am train from Torre Annunziata to Naples).
Significant delays were recorded on the 6am trains from Naples to Sorrento (52 minutes) and the 31am train from Naples to Poggiomarino (7 minutes).
