The challenge of good, of art, of culture: of good Naples versus bad Naples.

This is what was launched by the young musicians of the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory in Naples who held a concert this morning in memory of Giovanbattista Cutolo, the 24-year-old musician killed by a XNUMX-year-old.

The setting was Largo Baracche in the Spanish Quarters, the area of the city where the self-confessed murderer lived and an area of nightlife and well-known food establishments.

A group of cellists played, one of whom had a photo of the musician in his pocket, led by maestro Luca Signorini. “A classical music concert in Largo Baracche, the place of those who killed those who cultivated the desire for life for music,” was one of the messages launched by the organizers.

Music by Bach, Gershwin, Tcaikowsky, or sudato 'nnammurato. A musical mix of classicism and popularity: an extraordinary message from young artists of the same age as Giogiò, the unfortunate musician killed three days ago in Piazza Municipio.
