From tomorrow, Wednesday 13 September, AIR Campania Line 21 'Aversa-Caivano-Afragola AV' is active, serving five municipalities in the province of Caserta (Gricignano di Aversa, Cesa, Succivo, Sant'Arpino and Orta di Atella) and three in the Metropolitan City of Naples (Frattaminore, Crispano and Caivano).

"Starting tomorrow," said Anthony Acconcia, Director of AIR Campania, "we will be implementing school services in the municipalities of the Aversa area, as well as bus connections to the train and subway stations, promoting integrated mobility, which is one of our strategic objectives for efficient and successful public transport.

In addition to the existing regional connections with the stations of Afragola, Caserta, Foggia, and Naples, we're adding another important piece with the line departing from Aversa to the high-speed station. The next goal will be a single ticket, which we're already working on.

There will be twelve trips per day from Aversa to Caivano, with an extension to Afragola station during the time slots that guarantee connections with the Frecciarossa and Italo high-speed trains, and stops at the main secondary schools (the “Drengot” Hotel Institute and the “Fermi” Scientific High School in Aversa; the “Volta” Technical Institute and the “Alfonso Gallo” Technical and Economic Institute in Gricignano di Aversa; the “Morano” Technical Institute in Caivano).

The activation of the new line, which also provides access to the "Aversa Centro" and "Ippodromo" metro stations, as well as the "Moscati" hospital in Aversa, is part of the implementation plan that, AIR specifies, as per the schedule following the emergency contracts, the regional company is carrying out, restoring the minimum public transport services previously provided by the outgoing operator. The timetable is available on the website www.aircampania.it under "Lines and Timetables."
