“Naples is growing, it is now a multicultural city – underlined, speaking at the presentation, the Councillor for Tourism and Productive Activities Teresa Armato – for this reason we are happy to host these two weekends of approach to the cultures of the world, a precious opportunity to appreciate the traditions of other countries up close and to increasingly shorten the distances with the foreign communities residing in the city, but also to welcome with greater awareness of cultural differences, the thousands of tourists who choose Naples as their favorite destination for their travels.
This project is also part of the process of relaunching and enhancing the Mostra d'Oltremare as a trade fair space, which is finally returning to being a source of pride for all Neapolitans".
"We are very happy to bring multiculturalism back to Naples, a city that welcomes us with ever greater enthusiasm every year. We are back with lots of new features, with new festivals within the original format – explained Alessandra Lombardi, from the team that organized the event – In the program of “Naples meets the world” there will be twelve stages with over two hundred shows and three hundred artists. We will also have 600 stands representing 50 cultural areas from all over the world and 40 stands with the offer related to the gastronomy of the various countries that are present. We will be at the Mostra d'Oltremare on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10, but also on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September, from 10 am to 23 pm".
