A theatrical show, “Quel trauma che si chiama desiderio”, directed by Nadia Baldi, will close the thirteenth edition of “Segreti d'autore” on Sunday evening, the Festival conceived by Ruggero Cappuccio and directed by Baldi herself.
A text, the one that will be staged at 21 pm at Palazzo Coppola di Valle/Sessa Cilento (Sa), which was born from a workshop of the director with a group of actors under 30 on “the sound of the senses - the sense of sounds”, where music evokes sensations and the senses are transformed into notes of our daily life. With references that go from the Old Testament to Pessoa, from Dante to D'Annunzio, from Szymborska's Cassandra to Neruda's verses, between rewritings, new suggestions and the songs of Pino Daniele, Jovanotti and above all Fabrizio De Andrè. Crossing together that world of the unsaid that attracts and scares us at the same time. Knowing well that the only tangible truth always remains that of doubt.
Waiting to be able to climb, come what may, on that trauma called desire. The only thing that does not age. Just as a gentleman named Dorian Gray dreamed he could do.
The theatrical event will be preceded at 20 pm by the presentation of the book by Eugenio Ciacchi and Giuseppe Galzerano “Cesare Batacchi un innocente penale all'ergastolo”, which brings back from the mists of the past a forgotten and unknown story of Italian miscarriage of justice.
Admission to both events is free, but requires a reservation. Requests must be sent by email to comunicazione@festivalsegretidautore.it, specifying the number of seats and your name and surname. Reservations, which will be accepted until all seats are filled, will be valid up to 30 minutes before the start of the show. The confirmation receipt, in paper form or on devices, must be shown to the control staff.
Among the collateral events, we finally point out the last fascinating path among the flora of Cilento with Dionisia De Santis, expert in botany, herbal medicine and phytotherapy. Appointment, with reservation at the number 333.9193693, at 10 am in Piazza Croci in Sessa Cilento (Sa).
