Dissonanzen continues to celebrate its thirty years of activity in the name of music 'outside' the usual circuits.
Contemporary and ancient music, improvisation, contemporary dance, silent film soundtracks, chamber theatre. In thirty years of activity, the plurality of artistic and musical languages has always distinguished the Dissonanzen festivals.
For the last segment of the season, from October to December, 8 events that retrace the genres, methods, blends and exclusivity of the collective, which since its foundation has tried to propose a musical offering that has always differentiated itself, for peculiarity and originality, from the usual circuits. First performances, historical rewritings, dialogue of music with other arts, from cinema to dance, from theater to poetry. A significant opening to schools of two of the 8 events confirms the traditional informative attitude of the Neapolitan artistic collective.
Traveling events will be hosted in some of the "key locations" of the association's artistic journey, both historical and recent.

The opening concert of the autumn festival will feature the Ensemble Dissonanzen—comprising Marco Cappelli on guitar, Stefano Costanzo on percussion, Ciro Longobardi on piano, Tommaso Rossi on flutes, and Marco Sannini on trumpet—in a meeting of two artists from the New York scene: guitarist-composer and clarinetist Elliot Sharp, and video artist Janene Higgins. Sharp is one of the Village's most diverse, hyperactive, and versatile musicians, open to all experiences: from blues to ethnic dance, from electronic music to classical music.
